Sarah Caldwell is the Deputy Director of Collaborative Programs at the Climate & Wildfire Institute (CWI), where she leads the implementation and evaluation of the organization’s research and field-based program portfolio. She works at the intersection of science, community-based knowledge, and policy to advance on-the-ground wildfire resilience strategies across California, Nevada, and the American West. In her role, Sarah oversees CWI’s annual program portfolio, manages contracts and deliverables, and designs convenings that connect stakeholders, funders, and strategic initiatives to turn research and policy into high-impact, scalable action.
