Russell Parsons
Research Ecologist
Russ Parsons is a research ecologist with the USDA Forest Service RMRS Fire Sciences Lab, where he has worked since 2000. He got is BS in Forestry at UC Berkeley, his MS in Forest Resources at U Idaho, and his Ph.D. in Forestry at the University of Montana in 2007. His work focuses on fuel modeling, examining fuel/fire interactions, and on developing next generation fuel and fire management applications.
