Wildfire Commons Working Group Member Affiliation
The Oregon Hazards Lab (OHAZ) is a research lab within the University of Oregon's Department of Earth Sciences that leverages science, technology, and community engagement to understand, detect, and mitigate multi-hazards within the Pacific Northwest. OHAZ's work advances knowledge of natural and human-caused hazards, helps protect the public, and strengthens community-level resilience. Since May 2025, OHAZ and the Wildfire Science & Technology Commons have partnered to advance shared interests in hazard science and wildfire management by participating in the Marketplace Working Group, using the Wildfire Commons, and collaborating on academic publications and presentations.
