When I retired I became interested in fighting wildfires. I lived in Quincy MA near the headquarters of the National Fire Protection Association. Their library of fire related books was open to the public. I spent many hours reading. I ended up joining a Technical Committee on Electronic Communication Devices. I have been inventing and patenting new ways to fight wildfires. I have a small spray nozzle which can be used to surround a house to protect it from wildfire embers. It can also be used to prevent the escape of prescribed fires. With a pressure of 300 psi, the spray goes 40 feet into the air in a V shape which creates a steady wall of water with its neighbor nozzles. I have a patent for an ultra low cost automatic external spray system that costs a tiny fraction of the cost of currently available spray systems. I have a patent for a relay pumping system that uses a wire pair in the hoses to support an Ethernet controlled group of pumps. The group of pumps can move huge volumes of water for very long distances. These systems are described on my website.
