Ryo Chijiiwa
Founder
Ryo Chijiiwa is the founder of Ponderosa.ai, a startup focused on developing AI-enabled drones to empower fire practitioners. Prior to starting Ponderosa.ai, Ryo spent nearly 20 years in the technology industry as an engineer and engineering leader, at larger companies like Google and Yahoo!, as well as at startups of various stages. Ryo received his BA in Computer Science from the University of Chicago, is also a licensed Remote Pilot, a certified Wildland Firefighter Type 2, and a volunteer prescribed burn practitioner.
